The app comes pre-loaded with an extensive database of wine varieties and countries, making data entry quick and hassle-free. In the event that a wine cannot be found during auto-completion data entry, you have the option to add new wines, wineries, varieties, and countries on the spot.

A useful feature of My Wine Cellar is the barcode scanning function, which allows you to quickly search for wines in your collection for inventory updates and reconciliation. If a wine cannot be found, the app will initiate a new entry based on the scanned barcode.

In addition to its comprehensive features, this app also generates real-time and historical statistics on your wine usage. Furthermore, it offers the convenience of backing up your data to Dropbox or sharing your entire wine inventory through email.

The free version of My Wine Cellar is fully functional, but it does limit you to a maximum of 8 unique wines. If you find yourself enjoying the app and need to track more wines, there is an option to make a one-time in-app purchase that will remove this restriction.
